SJ33 or TG50???

Hi,

What device should I buy and why? Can't decide between the two.

I wonder whether there are many programs that take full advantage of OS5. Because except slower Acid Image, everything that OS5 does, can be done on an older dragonball...

So what would you recommend? The TG50 costs £50 pounds more.

What does the OS5 do better than OS4 in your opinion. After playing with the sim, it looks almost the same on there.

The speed is beautiful and also allowing for better graphics and interface appearances. No way I would go back. It spoiled me fast.

Tixx spoiled??

Tixx is right, OS5 speedier processors do things instantly where as OS4.x processors take seconds. Of course software written to take advantage of OS5's speed and graphics is awesome .

Spoil yourself and get the TG50. OS4 is being phased out and most of the poplular OS4 apps have been updated for 5.

Something new is coming that will replace the NX60. That's what some of the other threads are hinting towards.

Did I hear correctly somewhere that the TG50 only has 11mb usable ram? If so - major drawback.

Forget the OS and processor; start with the question of "would I prefer a keyboard, or would it be in the way?"

If you want a keyboard (as I do but many don't), get the TG50. But if you don't, your decision is between the SJ33 and the Zire 71.

I find that since my PowerBook and phone have Bluetooth, the TG50's Bluetooth has been invaluable. As a Graffiti veteran, I'm still finding the keyboard and lack of easy graffiti annoying.
