| hahaha ! Nice !
Do you have an idea of the purpose of the unused connector on the screen board, on the extreme right, below the speaker ?
And of the other one near the battery connector on the main board ?

| All that metal... Now I know why it's that heavy, yet it is sturdy
Does anyone know what's that silver thing labeled "cap-XX"? |

| Well, the screen itself is very heavy, more than all these metal parts.
I suppose this thing is a backup battery ? |

| the "cap-XX" is a high capacity capacitor / condenser.
google after it, and you will find.
It is used in the VZ to compensate high peaks, when the OLED and WLan are used for the same time

| Thanks for the explanation ... that's why it's not in the other models ...
I read that OLED uses less power than usual LCD ... But had some doubts when i noticed the size of the VZ90's battery ... it twice the TH55 battery ... for a little bit less than twice its battery life ... so finally the VZ is more or less as hungry than the TH55 ... but has a lot more bright screen ... |
