| I looked at my spare LCD and unable to figure out how to separate the digitizer from the LCD from the NR, NX, and NZ series. They are glued tightly together. You may have to live with the scratches or replace the whole LCD assembly. Sorry.

| I have one in stock. It'll take me a day + shipping to do it. It costs you $100 + shipping.

| I've got a sick NX70. I've had it since it was new - it's my baby, my precious. I'm going to be lost without it.
Everything has worked just fine, until this morning.
Out of the blue, the device suddenly is acting funny. The power button doesn't turn it off, it goes to back light off mode automatically, the scroll wheel doesn't respond to the push command... When I do a reset, it gets stuck. It will reset eventually, and then works fine for a while - but then it goes all bad again.
Any thoughts or ideas? I've never seriously dropped it, I did nothing different this morning.
Thanks!

| Clie Repairs Hi all, I was just browsing through the forums and saw this thread. DanT is very capable and also has been able to collect a good inventory to scavenge repair parts from, however, for any of you with repairs that you either do not want to attempt yourselves, or find too difficult, cannot get parts for, or that DanT has no parts/cannot fix, etc, you may want to consider trying this: One man company fixes PDAs
e-Bay store here
I have not tried him, but from the article, describing the exact problem that I have with my NX - dead camera , I will probably give him a try. Looks like a pretty good alternative to the costly OEM support of Sony.
Post any results/experience you have if you try it.
Cheers!

| Hi Dan,
Just broke the screen on my NX80! Got any spare screen and how much, with postage to Europe?
If not, are you interested in buying it for parts?
Thanks,
Thierry

What a bummer. Sorry to hear that. I can do either. Check your PM for detail.
Take care,

| I am looking for only the little slide power/hold button for a CLIE PEG-NX73VU. If you have one, please let me know the total price with shipping to zip: 33462. If you know elsewhere where I could get one - please let me know.
Help and Thanks,
Jeff |

| Oops Ripped Ribbon Cable on my Sony UX180P Do you have access to parts for the Sony UX180P. I was upgrading the harddrive with an iPod 60Gb and my meat fingers tore the flimsy ribbon cable. I've removed the cable which includes the USB assembly as one piece and am looking for the replacement part.
Cheers,
David |
