2 questions

can somebody give me a link to a program that lets you rename your movies...so I don't have to deal with the Mqv001 stuff...also, what is a good, free program to stop pop up ads?

I don't think you can rename the movies and still use them on the clie. Names and thumbnails are stored in a seperate folder as .MAI information files, there a name can be stored. I believe it was done this way to conform with Sony camera standards.

There is Ad Aware and Ad Subtract, I have the Pro versions, but they may offer freebies.

There is a proggie I think it was called rename. Start a search on palmgear.com like "NX + Clie" or "NX + movie" Its about 7USD. To expensive for a good app, though. I allows to rename and still keeping on the Clie working.
Free pop up killer. Try Phoenix a mozilla derivat. Cool browser with many extensions like mouse gesture or linky to download a whole pages gallery(links or pictures right away) There is a addin called Ad blocker works wonderful..

Hi Cameron!

The actual movie file itself can be renamed? As you can see, I don't play around with movies much. Usually it's something played back from my Sony camera. I know you need the MAI file for the thumbs.

Yea, you can rename those MOV000001.MQV files to Whateveryouwant.MQV. Works pretty good to. I believe that it was written by iebnn.

Phoenix has been renamed 'FireBird' and is basically Mozilla 'lite'. It's FREE FREE FREE and wonderful, and there are LOTS of cool skins. The best thing about it? TABBED BROWSING! No more million and one different windows!
