For under $150 you get a PDAlike(reading documents and e-books) reader that has a SD slot. This reader has been out since 2004 and I consider it just the next option after a Palm Z-22. Sorry I haven't tried it, just heard about it today.
Interesting... the PDF doesn't say anything about its features, however.
Can it
1) read TXT/DOC/HTM/PDB/etc. files located on the SD card, or just Fictionwise DRM'd files?
2) play music? It has a music icon on it -- is that for audiobooks? Can it play audible content? Can it play MP3s? Can it play AACs or WMAs?
I like the screen size; the device looks like it could be a useful PDA if the ROM was flashed. Just replace the modem with a Bluetooth connection.
