| Is the screen TOO bright ? My mind is dangerously set on having a VZ90!
But I keep wondering, will the screen be too bright for reading in darkness ?
I currently use a Palm TX with Dmitry's brightness fix, and it works perfectly.
Has anyone tried brightness fix on a VZ-90? Will it work OK?
TIA

| I never tried brightness fi on my VZ and i guess it cannot work.
The screen is very bright, but at the minimum brightness, it's ok for dark environments to read comfortably.
Anyway, i would not recommend you to read for hours with absolutely no ambiant light. |

| totololo is totally right. You can dim the VZ90 very much. There is no fix needed.
But sometimes I think the colours are too bright. BEst example: Bejeweled =)

| OLED screen questions... Thanks all for your answers!
I googled alot and can't help noticing there are NOT a lot of pdas or other gadgets supporting OLED screens...
Are they still too pricey of is there something wrong with the technology?
To longtime VZ90 users out there: is the screen always as bright as it was on day one?

| I believe it is still as bright as before ... full brightness is VERY bright !
Oled is used on many audio players ... but not on PDA ... did you noticed that since Sony left the market, PDAs, especially Palm Os powered ones are not evolving anymore ... Or event that hey are DE-evolving ... |

| Glaganie, I've had my VZ-90 for 18 months now and it seems as great as day-one. I don't consider it too bright - I'd call it brilliant. It's a great multi-media device and I treasure mine... |

| It is very bright, but never too bright for my eyes. The screen is so great, it doesn't hurt your eyes like an LCD or CRT would in the dark.

| As VZ has an OLED screen, i am not sure that this soft will work. And even if it do so ... i wouldn't dare to try it ... because screen system is so different ... |
