Question Waaaay off-topic: Bit Char-g vs. Nikko iRacer?

I'm making a lap timer for my major project, and I have designed and made a track, which was meant to be suitable for a Tomica Bit Char-g:

which is 6 cm long, and about 4 cm wide.

It turns out that the track is too complex for the Bit Char-g because of all the turns, and the car's lack of proportional speed and steering.

~~~~ ~~~~
As a result of this, I thought about getting the Nikko iRacer:
which is smaller, at 4.5 cm long. It also has proportional speed and steering, which means it can make much sharper turns, which I need.
I am not sure whether I should buy the iRacer (I already have a Bit Char-g).
Any help?
Thanks in advance,
jeremany91
The best way is to try both and decide which is more fun to handle.
I thought you were going to use a palm device to count the number of laps your little car can do. The hard part would be a way to hook up a lapcounter to the pda...
No my T3 is dead, so I can't do anything like that :/ I've already made the PCB for the timer anyway, and it works
Ok, I'll have to ask my parents if I can get the iRacer. (I've already bought a Bit Char-g and a Bit Char-g clone in the last couple of weeks)...
Have any of you heard of the DigiQ? It's similar to the iRacer, but much more expensive , and I've heard it's a lot better.
The only place I can get it from is America though. The postage alone costs more than an iRacer and postage from the UK!
Decisions, decisions...
