| VZ Media player & Battery life Well ...
Since some day, i found the way to get correctly tagged MP3 files from my Lossless itunes library ... I just use, under Windows, a tag editor to convert the V2 ID3 tags into version 1, readable by the media launcher.
I expected a better battery life, thinking about the audio DSP included in HHE architecture, and used only by the Sony player.
But now battery life is not just better. Battery life is absolutely incredible.
I Played music during 5 hours, at maximum volume, plugged to my HiFi ... and battery dropped from 100% to 96%. Even if during this time i only used the unit for about 10 minutes for PIM, this result seems incredible ! |

| Oh, you haven't been using MediaLauncher? PocketTunes kills the battery...
I use iTunes to convert the tags. I just select them all, go to advanced, and choose convert ID 3 tags

| Haaaaaaargh !!!
Today i suddenly discovered that you can get warm water by simply mixing hot water and cold water ... It's better for taking a shower.
I feel soooooooooo stupid now ! Thanks to you hahaha ! I never saw the option to convert ID3 tags in iTunes !!!
Ok, i was using ptunes, because I didn't succeed to use comfortably Media launcher, without knowing how to get my MP3tags recognized ...
Now, with right tags and CliePet's album swap ... i'm happy (and music sounds a lot better than on an iPod).
Thank you ! |

I came to the same conclusion... are you using the Bass Boost also? (picture of a speaker with +0 by it)

| Both have the bass boost (your TH, UX, NX. and the VZ90). Although the battery life and the screen on the VZ90 were nothing short of phenomenal. (except the stupid digitizer grid). If I could have afforded to keep it, I would have...

| Eh? What was wrong with the digitizer grid? I thought this was a Sony, not a Palm product . I haven't heard much about that problem on the VZ90??

| Not really a problem, more of an annoyance. When you have a bright image, you can see the digitizer grid.
