No, it doesn't, either (a) or (b). Edit: The sample Word file I've been using has graphics, which do persist. Just the text disappears. I do use FontSmoother, but I have disabled it for all of the D2G applications.

I do not have any issue w/ accessorizer DAs and D2G v9.0. So perhaps it is a problem w D2G v7.0?

Also, I hate to beat a dead horse... but I'm still loosing FontSmoother fonts after I exit any DA made with Accessorizer. If you tell me that this is just the price I must pay to have an awesome NotePadDA, then I will quit bugging you about this and take my DA and run. Thanx!

What font is being displayed? A system font, or a D2G font?

Check and see what it's reseting the setting to. I am guessing it's reseting to FontSmoother defaults. I'll have to check in FS to see why that happens.

The fonts are resetting to the Palm system defaults and not to FontSmoother defaults. It's as if FontSmoother is temporarily disabled until I switch apps or go to a launcher. The fonts do not return to FS managed font even if DIA is toggled or if I switch L/P views (I tried because you had suggested to FerdFerd that might fix his problem)

D2G is displaying its own font, not a system font. In fact, I tried turning on FontSmoother for Word to Go, and it shows the W2G font anyway.

To be completely clear, if I look at a text file, it shows up in TimesNewRoman. The sample native Word file (Meeting Notes) shows a combination of Helvetica and Arial. These font identies are from the Font menu in W2G.

Also, I've noticed that if I attempt to highlight the blank screen as if to copy the text that has vanished, it does highlight and show various line lengths appropriate to the missing text. If I copy the highlighted area to the clipboard, start a new blank text document, and paste the contents of the clipboard into the new document, the right text appears. In other words, the information about the text does exist in the "blank" document displayed after I dismiss an Accessorizer DA. It just isn't visible.

I also discovered a new conflict. If I start Patience Revisited 5.1 (a venerable but updated solitaire collection) and then activate an Accessorizor DA, when I dismiss the DA the card faces are black, not white. This might be a similar problem to the one cyberdude showed earlier in the thread. Maybe it's even like the W2G problem at an abstract level. Other card games (e.g., Sol Free 4.6) are fine on exit. So is PalmIshido.

I am quite unable to duplicate this. Are you using FS 2.07?

I tried creating a DA for Noah Pro wit version 0.01 and it totally destroyed my installation of noah. I can't even start noah normally without getting a null pointer error. I'll try it again with v 0.02.

I don't know what's going on with the Noah Pro app. I'm using Accessorize 0.02 now. I deleted all the DAs I created with 1 and recreated them. It turns out that the purpling of the ereader screen seems to occur with DAs other than the ones created by this app as well (if they put up any dialogue). The best thing about this app that I discovered while testing other DAs is that with Accessorize DAs when you tap home the DA quits back to the app you were in while with many other DAs the same action exits the underlying app as well.

In terms of Noah Pro, The first time I try to run it in normal mode now I get a Chunk under clocked error (I went into warpspeed and bumped up the speed to 422, but that did no good). After that unless I delete a file called "fs cache", (creator Noah) I get a null pointer error. Once I delete that file I get the under clock error again. I don't really use this app that often - I use MS Dict with the oxford dictionary - so I'm not sure when this started being a problem.

So I took up your gauntlet and made a Noah Pro DA. It works fine for me.

Edit: And I just tried bringing it up over Word to Go. When I exited the DA, the text remained visible! It still disappears with my built-in calculator DA. The cards in Patience Revisited still come back black.

Those black cards, I see, are also there when exiting ChronMemoDA.

When I started seeing this trouble with the calculator, I know I made another DA then and still had disappearing text. I don't remember any longer what the second DA was.

OK, to try to clarify my earlier post,
I launch via Hi-Launcher, Calc {built in} DA over dateBk6 or Plucker in either full screen or not.
After dismissing the DA with home status bar tap , I am left with blank DIA button.
it returns to normal in plucker by going to list view. In DB6 it stays blank until I change views.

I guess I'll have to delete and reinstall, then see what happens - hmmmmm

I made a calendar DA and had the same purpling problem in ereader, wonder if the underlying cause is the same (I also experienced the same effect with chronmemoDA).

I don't use Hi-Launcher, datebk6 or Plucker (anymore) so I can't address them specifically, but I haven't seen any problems with the DIA button in any other apps. BTW, I use metaDA to launch my DAs - you should give it a whirl - it's in the hacks/DAs section here on 1src.

I just used my v.02 DA to bring up Noah Pro over Blazer and everything went ok. But... whenever I launch NP via the DA it opens with the definition of "http".

I'm also getting the black cards in Patience Revisited after exiting my v.02 DA.
