Andy |
Not on my TX. I tested it with underlying apps that run with the DIA up and down, and in both cases the DIA icon is fine after dismissing a DA. What device are you using? What version of the app? What app/DA did you test with? |

| I didn't think I'd be much interested in Accessorizer, but I was wrong! Neat. And although I haven't tried this a lot, it works fine so far.
I assume the DAs it makes are to be deleted in the usual Palm manner?

Andy | I see the same thing. For a specific example, I made a DA for the calculator and ran it via MetaDA over Launcher X. I performed a calculation and then tapped home button on the status bar and returned to Launcher X. If I then tapped the DIA icon (which was darkened as it is when the DIA is inactivated), nothing happened. I could tap and hold the icon and bring up the popup with the three DIA options. When I selected one, nothing happened still, but after that, if I tapped the DIA icon, it raised and lowered normally. Or if I activated another application via its icon, DIA function also returned.

| I was going to try to make a calc da to test this, but I couldn't find the calc app so I just used my ms dict DA And although I didn't get a disappearing DIA buuton or a non working one I did find an anomaly. I started ereader:
I then used meta DA (assigned to a hard button) to bring up my DA list:
I then chose the MSDict DA, entered a word to lookup, tapped the home button in the status bar to exit and got back to the ereader screen:
I then popped up the DIA and put it down using the DIA button in the status bar. The screen in ereader that resulted is below: |

| I just noticed that the Files in the Accessorizer.zip for v0.02 have the same Date and file sizes of v0.01... Any chance that the zip didn't get updated in the freeware section?

| I found the calculator listed under scientificcalc (that's the mode I keep it in). I made a DA of it using Accessorize. I went back to LauncherX and used metaDA to launch the calcDA. I did a calculation, tapped the home button and the dia still worked fine, but when I pushed my button assigned to AuDodo to turn the unit off, it activated offflush (set to only activate on off button) anbd I got part of the calculator screen across my device instead of the flushing notification! I was unable to take a screenshot because it was flushing and turning off. |

I actually bought it for my son (he loves the Star Trek ebooks especially the SCE series - Starfleet Corps of Engineers). I got interested and started reading because it is a book about the relationship of the romulans and the vulcans. It is called "Rihannsu - The Bloodwing". I think it is the second in a bloodwing series (Bloodwing is a romulan ship captained by a female named Ael, which has had several run ins with Kirk's Enterprise. I got it at ereader.com. |

| New Accessorizer v0.02 report: My DA for the built-in calculator causes my unit to crash when it's activated over a Word to Go document, unless I manually elevate the DIA before activating the desk accessory. If I raise the DIA manually first, it doesn't crash. This is very much like my recollection of the earlier matters with ChronMemoDA, before 1.08d. Edit: Another wrinkle. If I do elevate the DIA before activating the calculator DA, once the DA is dismissed, the text below the DIA is missing completely. I have to exit and reload the document to see it again.

I have V0.01 and I just opened the sample doc in D2G 9 started the calcDA created with Acc v0.01, did a calc hit the home button manipulated the DIA and hit the home button again to exit D2G. No problems - if v 0.02 is giving crashes then what difference is there between versions? Edit: I take it back. I'm using the latest version. although it still reports it is version 0.01, it is the same version as the one posted in the freeware section dated 2/23 8:50am.

| Hmm. Wonder if there is an interaction with D2G versions. I still use the one in the TX ROM, which is version 7.

See Post# 35 just above
@ FerdFerd... I'm using D2G v9.0 and I don't have any problems with the couple of DAs that I've made (NotePad and ToastTimer) and I'm NOT having crashes. My ONLY issue is loosing FontSmoother settings. I'm using v0.01, I tried v0.02? but well see post #35 above - it was no different for me.

| I guess what was posted was the old version. I tried to upload again.

| I downloaded again and now it shows 0.02 as the version in the main application and the hack information screen. I don't get crashes anymore when exiting over Word to Go. But all the text disappears when I do exit. I can only see it again if I reload the document. I have screenshots, if you want to see them.

| Does the text reappear if you (a) toggle the DIA, or (b) rotate the display?
