| Thanks for the reply, Catacomber! I knew someone would come through, and am now a bit embarrassed that I even needed a clue on something so simple. |

| OK, I am about ready to call it quits. I have almost a dozen quests still open and cannot seem to progress the game further. I've been wandering around talking to people for several (game) days now and no one is giving me that next step.
My open quests:
Find the jewelry shop thief
Find out the situation
Cure Hildemar
Find the cold spring for the healer
Exorcise the devils
Find the undertaker's missing jewelry
Find Brother Jago's scorpion flail
Find Brother Joffrey's murderer
Find the Sword of God
Can anybody help? I'm quite frustrated! I am an experienced Legacy-er, but this one's got me stumped.
Also, can the locked door in the Caves of Fire actually be picked? I loaded up a mystic fire robe with +50 lockpick (giving me a 126 in lockpicking) and although my chances were very good, I simply could not unlock it. |

You could start working on the Eldfell quests with the "Finding the cold spring" one. Remember that the person who gave you the quest said that the cold spring was sealed up and "You may need something stout and strong to reopen it again though." You'll need a special "stout and strong" item for this task. Look around the area!
For the "Exorcize the demons quest, when you got the quest you were told, "I think you'll need a spellbook to exorcize her demons though. Go to the Sunken Cemetery, to the church. Talk with Father Gorka."
For the Abbey quests, in order to help you I need to know where you are in the "Find Brother Joffrey's murderer" quest. What is the last NEW dialog you've heard from the Abbey people? You can't unlock the final door in the Caves of fire with an Unlock spell or with Lockpick skill, even though you can disarm it. I was unsuccessful with both a level 70 Lockpick skill and a 228 Unlock spell (which is equivalent to level 258 Lockpick.) Sylon has said that it's unlockable without the key. (I know it says you have a moderate chance of lockpicking it, but you don't.)
Please don't throw in the towel yet! This Expansion is different than Legacy, but it's really great, too!!!

| Thanks for the reply, Silvergirl (I'm enjoying your robe, BTW ). I figured out the cold spring and exorcising the demon quests by some hints I found at PDAGround. The other Eldfell quests, it seems, were connected to one person I did not talk to initially (i.e., Hildema).
Hmm, as far as the murder investigation, I've been messing with it so long I have forgotten the last new dialog. I know about the hemlock, and that Fr. Benedetto brought Br. Joffrey a drink at the Abbot's request. Unfortunately the only the the Abbot wants to talk about now is the sword. Does this give you an idea of where I am in the investigation?
Thanks for the info about the cave. I guess I'll keep messing around in there as well. I haven't figured out how to get across the chasm yet. |

You'll have to use the other outside entrance to get to the other side of the Caves.
Hope this info helps to get you enthusiastic again! |

Ah, that is my problem. I cannot seem to find him, however. Is he in the abbey?
EDIT: D'oh I found him. Apparently he needs his beauty sleep! Quote: |

Yup, I've been to both sides, and even found a key, but it doesn't work in that darn door!

Quote: | Originally Posted by WildCelt Yup, I've been to both sides, and even found a key, but it doesn't work in that darn door! | Ah, to get the other fire key (the one that unlocks the final door) you have to solve Sylon's diabolically clever and relatively simple puzzle in the room that some people call the "moat" room and that victorash calls the "puzzle" room. It's behind a locked door (unlockable with the key you have, or you can lockpick or Unlock it) and it looks like a square column in the middle of empty space. I can give you small hints if you get stymied, but give it a try first! |

| Hi there,
I've actually been to the room but haven't figured it out yet.
I've finally completed the main quest <phew!>. I didn't figure out the fire room puzzle or if there was anything to find/do in the ice caves. Any hints would be appreciated (I assume I can still do them, no?) Also, does the stone village do anything? Niaria (or however you spell that) said something about wait a week.... And what about that tree in the middle of that chasm? Just wondering.
Thanks! |

If you've found the Redshift Hammer, it does say when you've found it, "Hmm. Perhaps this hammer has a special use." Another potential mystery to solve! And Cat says that the village should be checked after Naiara's week-long meditation, and I mean to do it but I've never had the patience to wait long enough. About that tree, I've never found a way to do anything with it so if you do, I'd appreciate knowing that I should still try! Ooo, I forgot about that! Perhaps I'll do some knocking. Quote: | Originally Posted by Silvergirl This room is a small work of Sylon's genius. Get to the island in the middle, and you will see that one of the 4 room walls has a large crack... |
Ah, I figured out the crack early on, but I only let one arrow fly, which was my problem. Thanks for your help! (Now to figure out what to do with an extra feather...) |

If you want to be able to teleport to Thule and continue the Expansion, you'll have to pay the 9.95 to get the full game.
It's well worth the money! |

| Thanks for the help Silvergirl I did pay for the expansion but there was a problems with the download, only downloaded the demo. I did get that fix however and now on my way to save the world. (well one Island at a time anyways.) lol. I do have a question I have so quest that are not solved or I really don't want to solve is there any way to fail at them or delet them from my list? Like the rob the wealthy family, Broms potion and wolvelea's information quest, I don't need to do those quest since I am good. great game |
