Mac: going from Palm Desktop to iCal: all-day event problem
So, since I left my job and no longer sync at work on my PC, I've decided to integrate all my Palm stuff with my Mac at home. I picked up Missing Sync and everything is going well... except for one big problem.
My "repeating all-day events" (RADE) are showing up incorrectly for part of each year; they have become 2 day events in iCal (the correct day plus the following day), and when synced to my Palm TX, only the second (incorrect) day is displayed.
I initially did the import back before daylight saving time, and every RADE between late October and early April became double-day events. I just tried it again now, and the opposite occurred: the "winter" events are correct, but the early April through late October RADEs are now double-day events.
The problem is occurring somewhere between Palm Desktop (4.2.2) "Export to vCal" and iCal (2.0.4) "Import from vCal", and Daylight Saving Time is clearly part of the issue. I emailed with the Missing Sync guys, and they have not heard of this issue.
