| I don't own one but I heard in a review that the pictures it takes are a bit dark.

| Well, my photos are great. This camera is packed with tons of features and when Samsung named it Digimax Pro, they really mean it.
I am still learning to use all features and so far i love it. Nothing plastic like in much more expensive Canon's.
Feels great in hand and look great too. first and only camera with 18-420mm lens, 3.5" LCD, 3 different viewer etc...
Do you photography? Which cameras do you have?
Anybody else want to share his/hers experience with cameras?
bonne journee

| So how's close ups? My sony cybershot is terrible. I tried to take a picture of a spider or a 7up label and the results are disapointing. Any tricks to closeups for circuit boards or other things?
So is the samsung partial to sd cards made in Korea? What is the largest memory card that is possible? Have you tried the video portion yet or does it not do video and sound like my cybershot? Nam Myoho Renege on my Kyocera(sorry for the pun).... |

| hi Philpalm,
my Samsung is just great, fast (you can take up to 30 frames in motion photos, i dont mean viedo), great closeup, video.
I did buy some Macro closeups too in addition. Did you looked at the tech-information online? http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/spe...sung_pro815.asp
on this website you can find all informations about all kinda cameras. what model cybershot do you have?
Samsung takes CompactFlash II. i have a 2 GB. I think it takes bigger cards up to 8GB. toooo expensive for me. I do have a 20GB portable hard-drive to backup my photos right away on the road.
send me an email i will show you some of my pics.
ps,
Do you know what "Nam myoho renge kyo" means? ;-)

| Here's my blog and some pictures I took with my cybershot: http://www.xanga.com/PPhilip/542580...ociety-and.html
Only trouble with high pixel photos is that it takes a long time to download. If you like showing off photos this website is a good place to show off your photos.

| Too bad Sony didn't put Clie Viewer into the Cybershot camera, however I can use the camera as a card reader. Yes since you have a Sony Ux-50 there might have been more Sony interaction....
Since there doesn't seem to be any response to Cybershot here at 1src, maybe I will google and see if there is a Cybershot forum?
I wonder if there is a Samsung camera forum? Or any other digital camera forum? |
