| PXA255 - the 400 Mhz CPU with 200 Mhz bus speed. It is FAST.
320x320 screen.
Er, not sure what else to write up, since I have not used Palms in so long.

| Looks like Palm finally announced the unit!
I am taking mine back tomorrow, though. Nice, but for $500, stereo sound would have been nice, ya know?

| very nice. I think it's an excellent handheld... but I really hate the design. Wish it looks more Sony-ish |

I still can't believe there is a Palm with a 400mhz cpu now. 2 years ago we were still at 16mhz right?
As I'm browsing through they are still uploading the images. |
In addition, palm has (finally) beefed up the RAM to 64MB and features a built-in WiFi. Palm devices are definately going to catch up to current PPC devices. |

| It is a slick unit in terms of specs.
One thing about Pocket PC that I prefer over Palm - the ability to have both HOME and WORK addresses in the same single contact on the PDA. Sometimes I need both, and it seems silly to have to store two different contacts.
Focus of programs is also a bit sloppy. Should be able to multitask better.
That said, I will say that WorldMate on the Tungsten C is faster than it is on my Toshiba e740. That is one very nice app.

| Cool! I've been griping about the PXA250 and it's mediocre performance for almost 5 months now, so It's good to see all PDAs adopting the new PXA255.
The only thing left for PALM is the OS, so when version 6 is released PALM's will be the best PDAs overall on the market IMHO.

| If Sony made a TG-50 with WiFi, and TRUE full contact storage, I'd dump my Pocket PC in a moment.

SuperNames can do this, I can add as many addresses to one contact as I want.
One of the main reasons I carry my Clie' around more then my PPC.
