Unhappy bt file transfer works from pc to e2 but not the other way around!

As the title says.............

I can transfer files from my xp pro sp2 laptop (it's a member of a domain) to my tungsten e2 with out a problem. Just right-click -> send to -> bluetooth
-> my device.

When I try to transfer from the E2 to the PC (using send -> bluetooth), it appears to connect, (the screen says "connecting" then "sending" then "unable to send to:") but always shows "unable to send to"

I'm using the widcomm 5.01.xxxx.

Any ideas?

Do you have them paired?

Is the PC registered in the Palm as a 'Trusted device'?

Your Widcomm drivers are patched or you have a broadcom-licensed device?

Send a message via MSN to skaf
Have you set your PC to be discoverable and have you enabled incoming file transfers?

bt

first be sure that what was written earlier in this thread you have ok.
second go to your bluetooth setup > PIM Item transfer and set "yes" for accepting all files from BT.

I have USB BT MSI Star key with widcomm drivers and here is simple howto
- double click on bluetooth icon next to time on windows bar
- then go tu setup (from menu bluetooth > advanced configuration)
- local services > PIM Item transfer > and there be sure you have in Recieved section for All others types chosen Save to Folder and under this is also address of folder where will be recieved files stored.

And now it should works
