| Help with Island of Waerloga I have been traipsing around Waerloga for what seems like forever. I have 4 of the books and 4 of the souls and seem stuck there. So, I have a couple of questions. First of all, I am now stuck in the room where I killed COOLD, and I canNOT find a way out of there, I see a bigger room with holes in it but I cannot get into it. So, is there something I am missing? I have gone around and around in there, touching everything I can, but to no avail. Also, I know that there is a place called the Drainpipes, and I am supposed to be able to get there from the Guardroom, but I cannot find the entrance for it. Am I just blind and stupid, or is there a well hidden secret? I appreciate ANY help that can be given, as I am getting ready to give up! LOL! |

| Ok, so I found the Drainpipes and the 5th soul, but I still cannot find the 5th Book of Solomon. Can someone, please, point me inthe right direction? Also, I still didn't figure out a way out of the Holez room with COOLD. I ended up going back to a saved game and moving on to other things. Any help would greatly be appreciated! |

| I never had problems with Waerloga... Wait till Catacomber comes here and answers... There's lot's of places to go, why don't u explore the whole Island of Waerloga? I did that, and didnt have any problems. Coold Holez: Just keep falling thru holes!!! First save the game, then try them all.. I'm not sure, but MAYBE there is a magic carpet (big picture on a wall). Not Sure

| I guess I should have actually said that I am in need of book #4. I have all the rest, just can't seem to locate that one.
Thanks Catacomber, for all the help. I actually have been using electriclegends site, but just need a little more help.
This is the first game like this that I have played, so I am still getting used to the nuances of it all. I actually have explored the whole island, but I must have missed something.

| Thank you Cat! I finished- what a great game! This was yours, wasn't it? Now I just have to figure out how to defeat the gang in Eloni's hideout, in Sequentoni. Does anyone know if my party, at a 24-26 level, will be able to take them all on? Also, I can't seem to get past the second set of holes in that hallway. They all come rushing up and don't let me get past the last hole. I have tried to us a "clean way" spell, but I still fall in a hole, and by the time I get back up there, they are regrouped right at the same spot. (I guess I should actually have posted this in the Sequentoni thread- sorry!) Thanks again for all your help Catacomber!!!! |

Golden garter is in the Solar -- 3rd floor castle--you have to arrange 3 items on 3 shelves properly. If you get stuck, pm me. |
Hello Catacomber,
thanks for the quick and qualified reply.
i found a last and not yet found room in the drains with Gemery.
Now im in the solar. I have two "my ladys" things in my inventory, the crown and the skirt, and also 2 clothes from lady lorraine (which cant be puzzle items, becaus i can sell them). Which item is the third?
Can you help me once (last) more? |

| Help... I made it through the map - almost. I still need to find some spider fur. Where is it?
Also (since I am curious), the axeman gave me a magic axe to cut through things on the island. I thought he meant trees, so I hit every tree on the edges with the axe to no avail. Does it do something? I can see a wolf behind trees in one forest by the old man sleeping and drinking tea.
Finally, how do you survive the torture chamber? It wasn't critical to quests (unless it has the spider fur), so I didn't make it through that.
Thanks in advance. I thought it was a great map. |

| Three places I'm stuck:
--"You have to stand in a certain position to chop down that tree--the axe works on one tree only. Near the man who gave you the axe. Not near the old man."
Does this mean that the "one tree" is on the island with the axeman (from whom I bought the axe)?
--Where in Hydemore Wod is the locked door?
And don't laugh, but...
I dutifully keep falling down holes until I reach the girl prisoner who gives me the book. BUT then there are no more holes to fall through!
This is, by the way, a really fine map. |

| I know it sounds stupid but...
I have all five books, all five ancestors, found Waerloga (I think) in the chapel but I cannot get to him through the wall of force. I suppose there should be a hidden switch but I can't find it.
Also, I cut through pines in the oods but fall through the hole further down the path and cannot get back to this section of the forest (the hole on the road doesn't close anymore). Should I keep trying or there is nothing of special importance?
Thanks!
PS. Catacomber, this is a great map! Thank you very much! |

Is it a switch in a small room behind one of doors on a side wall? I already pushed it. Didn't help. Hope that helps. |
I already got Shiny Gold from the boy (will it be any use later), got the riddle and purple flower for that and now what?
Basically I got all quests but Enchanted Cheese (didn't care to go for that) and Thunder Arrows. Are they important for the game completion?
Thank you very much! |

How did I miss it??? Thank you very much!!! Map is solved! Hooray!
Once again - a great map! Quote: | Originally Posted by Catacomber The shiny gold rock is just that---useless and shiny--but hopefull that quest increased your experience points. |
:-) I was killed by bandits once and second time just picked up fur and went to the boy. Didn't care to fight them all. Quote: | Originally Posted by Catacomber Those two remaining quests are not important. I think the Thunder Arrows are dropped by a monster in that lodge forest. |
Same as above: party got killed by monsters once and I decided not to pursue it :-) |
