- Refactored code to hopefully solve the dimming problem and improve performance
- LED changes to Green while charging and reverts to the previous colour when disconnected
- LED is automatically re-enabled after a reset
- Far superior icon for the application! Merci beaucoup BuRnN, ton graphique est tres bon!
I'll be making a new build shortly (may be a few hours if I get too sleepy!) but it will be available in the next 12 hours or so!

I installed the original version on my T3 and it worked as advertised. I'm glad you've addressed the second fix as I kind of like the green LED while on the charger. Will this be the case if the T3 is powered off. I noticed with the earlier version the LED would turn off if the T3 was turned off even though the T3 was still on the charger. Has the newer version been released for download and testing yet?
Thanks for all your hard work. I wish I had your skills. |

| Hey All,
As Ruben mentions, the new build hasn't been uploaded yet - it'll be available shortly. Sorry for the further delays but things sometimes get in the way of Palm stuff!
A big thanks to BuRnN - amazing graphics, the new icon set is even better than the original! Wow!

| Hey All,
A little later than advertised, but it's ready! You can download version 1.1 from the same spot: http://www.maths.tcd.ie/~gfennell/Palm/baT3.prc
All of the fixes mentioned in the last post are included as well as some other random improvements. After you run the application for the first time the database will be protected so you'll have to use the new 'UnInstall' option in the menu to safely unload everything before deleting baT3.
Thanks to everyone for all the feedback and although I'm hoping this version will work out of the box for everyone, please let me know of any issues and I'll see what I can do!

| you nailed it - works exactly as advertised so far.
Great work - hey how about including vfsled feature of showing card access to - maybe titilating red led (:-))
And one more - maybe you should load up zip.file with lib included (if Dimitry allows that)

| Excellent work, Graham! Now the green LED turns on while connected (no more faint blinking green while charging as in the previous release). Amber, red and blinking red work fine too. The only possible issue I can see is this: if, while connected to the charger I launch baT3 and disable/re-enable it, then the green will again blink faintly (instead of being solidly lit) until I exit baT3, disconnect the charger, launch baT3, and disable/re-enable it. But that's no big deal, I just tried it to see what would happen, so you may as well disregard it
I agree it would be nice to have the VFSled feature, but I personally would prefer the blinking green since the blinking red is used to report very low battery percentage.
Thanks a lot for this app, Graham. It's a very cool and useful feature.

| Just ran a quick test - no probs with sounds at power on/off while baT3 is enabled. Sounds play, palm powers on/off without crashes. I'm using ZLauncher 5.42b4 (latest beta) and the MacOS X sound theme.
Tosbsas, what ZL version are you using?

| tried maxOS too-when only testing sounds - with bat3 on I get reset, bat3 off - no reset.
No problem, I can live without sound, but maybe calls for sound and led cross each other in certain environments.
Ruben
And I use latest beta too (ZL) |

| another little weirdo
I use 2playme as alarm (a great!!!! app) When it starts in the morning bat3 shows no little. As soon as I turn the musik off, led goes on
I believe somehow "timing" auf bat3 call might be in need of some tweaking

| Graham, sorry to be such a pain in the a.., but I found another minor glitch with your app on my T3: While baT3 is enabled, LED notificacions (by the OS or other apps) do not work properly. For example, I configured Aeroplayer to switch screen off and blink the green LED while playing music. This works ok unless baT3 is enabled. If baT3 is enabled then the green LED won't blink normally (that is, at a somewhat slow rate, with long on-times). Instead, it will blink with a very short on-time. Same behaviour with other apps that use the green LED to notify. For example, QLaunch, which can use the green LED to notify key hold times).
Has anyone else noticed this? What do you think about this issue, Graham? Thanks for your help, and sorry again for being so annoying
