| TH55 or UX50 I am selling my TJ37 since it has just been treating me like crap lately. I was wondering if more people go to the UX50 or the TH55. I want some different opinons on which one is better for the money. Thanks. |

| That's kind of a can of worms around here.... You've posted here, in the TH55 forum, so I hafta assume that you've also posted in the UX forum.
They're really different animals and not comparible. They suit different styles of use. Personally, I'm more comfortable with Graffiti than a keyboard, plus I have a bigger screen, better battery life and less bulk with the TH over the UX. There are also some memory issues and the fact that the TH has an excellent seperate processor for sound.
My vote would be for the TH, but then what else would you expect...

| Go with the TH, battery life is incredible . Also more internal memory will help you install more apps, plus even though both have same processors the TH is newer and thus the processer feels like it is lil faster than the UX.

| Well, I just hit a jackpot today! 250USD for a big box of Cliés and accessories. Some idiot sold it to me at a pawn shop. He said that since the clie was more than two years old, it was obselete! A very stupid person. He could have made so much more! Among the good ones are these:
2 working TH55s. both are fully functional (so far) and in good cosmetic condition!
1 UX50. The battery is not great, but I have heard that is a problem for all users.
2 UX40s. One has lots of scratches, one does not. The one with scratches has a bad camera, the other one is perfect.
1 TJ37. I have not tested it.
1 NX73V. I think that he said that there is a wireless CF card too! I have not tested this one yet either.
There were a few older Clies, but this is going to make an awesome collection!

Or...would you be willing to auction some off on eBay? If you put some on Buy It Now at a reasonable price I'd be interested. |

| Well, I never owned an UX Cliè but if can stay without a keyboard go and buy a TH55. You will get better battery life, a bigger screen and one of the most elegant PDA ever made. If you buy an european TH55 you will get Bluetooth and Wifi on the same device.
And do not forget that the TH55 has real 32MB RAM for storage available to the user due to its aditional 8 MB of RAM for program space.

| I thought that good battery life was a plus with the UX50. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm interested to know simply because I am purchasing a ux50 and was under the impression that battery life was good with the ux. Is this dependent on a third party battery replacement?

| Battery life on the UX50 is terrible. With the EB40 it is much better, but it makes it a lot bigger.
