Can i have my access point on one computer (where i have internet connection) and clie desktop software etc hooked up to the other computer on my wired network? I want to be able to browse the internet from my bed, but the internet connection is in the other room. If not possible, whats the suggestion?

You should be able to. You can try setting everything DHCP and AUTO, but for some of us it didn't work out and/or was not reliable. A lot depends on the equipment used and your layout configuration.
