| Question... will this void my warrenty? I still have to send my buggy TX to Palm.
Also, is the NetFront VZ version or TH version? Can someone check? If its 2.0.22, can you use the VZ version Dmitry, its the most up-to-date version for Palm OS and has Carriage return support. VZNetFront

| heh, I've been thinking yesterday to ask You about custom ROM for TX - mainly for freeing memory for DBcache... Great job!
Only few questions:
1. Can I still run Blazer, not only NetFront?
2. How can I bring back original ROM?
3. Is it possible to prepare custom ROM by myself (i.e. I don't need zLauncher, quickTour, Expenses, etc.)?

2. no way i know of. but the WPA upgrade will bring it back bc it includes a copy
3. i will not be releasing my tools at this time, possibly later (ZL is not nicluded in this rom)

OK. I am asking because there are other apps which I don't need - quickTour, expenses, etc. |

| this is great !!!!!!
A very good job ;-)
You're the one : works perfectly on my french TX
And I'm accord with others to remove :
* Welcome visit
* Maybe Blazer ??
and why not put on the custom ROM :
* Meminfo
* Offlush
* TCMP
* NVBackup
I think those apps are essential....great and free ;-)

| Wow, this is great news...for you TX-owners! ;-)
I'm sure you are allready working your butt of, Dmitrygr, but do you think it is possible to somehow do this for the LifeDrive??
I don't need anything new in the ROM, but Expenses (does ANYBODY ever use that??), CardInfo, Solitaire, WorldClock and some other are 'deletable' for me.
Hm, come to think of it, would a JackSprat-like app for NVFS-Palms be possible??
Just an app to delete stuff you don't want from ROM.
I think many people are more than willing to pay for that...! I would be... |

meminfo is useless, offlush is not an app i like (there is never a need to flush cache on TX. it is flushed on any allocation from DB cache that fails initially, so this app is useless by definition on a TX), tcpmp is too big (i'd need to remove netfront to fit it), and nvbackup needs the card to function so why not keep it on the abovementioned card anyways?

well the updater forces a hard reset at the end anyways [it is necessary]

| Oh well, if I ever have to hard-reset anyway I'll keep this in mind...it's so tempting...aw, I'll probably break down at some point. |
