 | Updating Older ZLauncher Themes
In response to several questions from some users I have posted a small guide about how to update older ZLauncher themes, using PFCD, to include the new functionality and bitmaps available in the newer versions of ZLauncher. If anyone is interested I have posted the guide on lesliefranke.com. |

| thanks its will be very usefull for everybody perharps HPSkinstudio will do the job in few clic(by the way HPSS use the latest core of PFCD)

HPSkinStudio probably does the job more elegantly and a little quicker yes, but it has two disadvantages compared to PFCD:
1. It is not free.
2. There is a learning curve to HPSkinStudio. You need to take the time to learn how to use the program too.
If you have no experience making ZLauncher themes and just want to do a quick and dirty update to a theme I would use PFCD. If you want to learn the skinning process and make a new skin or maybe even modify newer skins that have the same skin structure, HPSkinStudio (or even ZLThememaker) is probably a better way to go.
Yes, I am very slowly working on a new skin in what little time I can find. | |
