#32 | | Guest | Magnetic closure vs. Credit Cards? Has anyone had any problems with the PF cases/magnetic closure and credit cards? I am desperate for a case that can protect my NZ 90 and yet can hold my credit cards.

Good job | |

#35 | | Guest | backup battery and magnetic clip I am wondering if the powerful magnetic clip has any effect on the small button battery (back up battery) underneath the magnetic clip.

| Unregistered - 1. Please register, it isn't painful. 2. It has no effect at all on the batteries, the memory sticks, or the CF card

| Re: One more time Quote: Originally posted by Unregistered Okay, that last response has made me think about it again. I tried setting an alarm this evening, I left my sony in the pda position as I did last night, and let the alarm to go off like it should three times. Every time it turned off after 2 minutes as I set it up. It reminded me three times, and never stayed on after that. I am not using a hack or a utility on my PDA, and the device works perfectly. I am willing to try it again just to give the case and the company credit back if I am completely wrong. Everything you said earlier makes me believe that the magnet did not cause the problem. Maybe the bottom leather holster got caught on the power button or maybe it pushed the battery compartment down. So, you are saying the the inside part of the leather magnet connector should not mess up my battery or memory card (or internal memory for that matter) if I leave it the case on tonight? I was wondering how strong the magnet was on the inside, and it was strong enough to hold a metal paper clip against the leather on both the inside and outside. I guess I am being anal, but I really do not want to mess up my Clie. I have had bad luck with the Pocket PCs since they are not reliable in terms of function and syncing, and this Sony is perfect in all respects. Besides, I really like this case and would like to keep it. |
Hmm, anal, I don't think so, OCD possibly, but just in case put it in your microwave for 3 minutes, minimum power, and that should neutralize the effects of the magnet, or bring the case down to one of the local AEC labs and have it tested for radiation.. or go to cyberguys.com and buy a demagnetizer..
just having some phun

| Nice looking case. Very similar to what EB company ( http://www.ebcases.com/StoreFront.bok ) have been producing for all other PDA/Clie versions. Good quality, I used one for the PalmVx and Clie NR70V. I hope they come out with one for the NZ soon their prices are about half what Pielframa are asking.

| Here are some picture for the Piel Frama case, Case For Piel Farma
The people at PF have nothing but pleasent and have provided me with exeptional service. The case itself is well made with access to the MS slot, CF slot, the reset button and even die cuts for the sony and clie logos. I bought the one without the belt clip because i dont wear a belt. The price is 69.1681 USD.

| I have received my PielFrama Case for my NZ90 and it truly is fantastic!
My NZ looks quite at home in it's new leather case.
I ordered it from here in the UK and it took only three days to reach me.
I cannot thank the guys at Piel Frama enough for their quality of service.
