| actually, mine is true Nvidia Desktop. Hence the acceleration part. Honestly, at that point, the amount of clutter on the screen isnt representing anything. The current cards on the morning can handle more than that at a comfortable level. Its about style :P If you wanna get into the performance realm, ill benchmark my linux boxxen. WIndows is a snail :P

I use two screens when I code . My PC is three years old but its still quick with Dual-processing and all . OK, the competition is over. If you want to put it your last comments as well. Go ahead. I just wanted to show you that Windows, and Linux has its similarities. I may dislike Windows at times but you have to admit, the variety of software available for Windows surpasses Linux or Mac. That's the reason I got Windows.
I use transparency for my task bar and sometimes to view my background picture while on the web (when its of younger family members )
Nothing serious really. I just have a Nvidia card and it comes with the feature so why not use it. The above screenshot is not what I usually do on a regular basis. I just did that to show off transparency through Windows XP.

| I have an application called "virtue". It gives me four virtual computers, so I have an empty screen, a screen for browsing, a screen for email, and one for code

| Hey I was looking over this, I was thinking. How are we suposed to see the
benchmark speed of your computer out of a picture?
I thought is was just showing off how cool it looked
and having run both linux and windows I can say that it is not so much
speed that is different, it is how many applications you can run at the same
time without it crashing.
