I chose a transparency level for the toolbar. I get a 48x48 bitmap of an average of the color in the toolbar background (at the predetermined transparency). I resize my source bitmaps (bicubicly of course), and then put them on top of the 48x48 background with the color. Because they are PNGs, and are real source files, they have built in transparency, and so this action blends the edges with that color. I then merge the layers, and add the transparent color to the edges of the bitmaps.

Why not? Sure, give me a minute...if you really want it. Ill have a better version later with all of the little icons fixed.
Notes on this skin. Use only with the grass background. All of my transparency settings are set at 40%, and so that is what this is optimized for. Download this skin!

I get it. I've done similar things before when I knew what color the background would be. Thats why I prefer png files over jpeg too.

Remember, SJ did all of the really hard work. I am just pulling a "cleanup crew" job fixing a couple rough spots. Well, not even that much, cause although my mod is cool, it only works with the grass background, until ZZTechs implements the feature I asked them for.

Hey FL... I noticed noone answered your Q! about text color. TAB properties and pick the color tab at the top. You can change the text color for each tab individually or select Changes >all to set all tabs to whatever changes you made just then, POWERFUL!! This is one reason I like ZL so much.
