If anyone wants a specific wallpaper that should be converted to palm size ive got all of them. And is there a way on zlauncher to change the color of the text since i really cant see it. for example go into Pop Up Path Tree and look at the buttons. I can't really read em and im only 12 so ive got pretty good vision. and swj no how u hav the vista startmenu up top. Y don't you make the quicklauncher function button nothing so it could be kinda like windows

Hey SJ, just wanted to give you a heads up that tonight I will be releasing a modded version of the skin with somewhat blended (much smoother) toolbar icons. Because of the blending it will require the grass background, and transparency set to 40% on the toolbar, though I dont think this will be a problem for most people when they see how good it looks. I will upload a screenshot later when I have something to show. Looks good so far.

BTW, do you have the hue/saturation/brightness levels you used for the depressed bitmaps? (IE, how did you make the green shaded ones?)

Joe, just a quick reply here. Just made the adjustments using transparency for my settings. Got to tell you great job. You need to move the file from RAM to the ZLauncher/Sound folder on your card. Then you need to go to the Sound tab in Theme Launcher and install it!

Cool, I'll check back later to see what you modded - I'm curious by what you mean by "blending". I imagine you mean making the angled edges less noticable by using varied shades to smooth it out giving it a slight halo around the icon.

As far as any mods by me, I am going to change the button that shows up in the file manager because of the black text issue.


As far as the depressed images...I did a transparent layer at 50% (I think) using the basic rgb green (000,255,000) but I did it all at once so I can't swear to it. I usually jot down the rgb too since I tend to forget what I used, I just didn't this time around.

Ahh, well, it should be obvious if thats what you used for the depressed images. Ill try it when I get back home and work on the skin. If thats not it, ill do something similar, no problem. As for the blending, you will see. It looks really good, almost as if the icons were actually alpha blended (which they arent, they just look like it). Its one of my stupid human tricks...making things look blended when they really arent. Unfortunately, it only will work with my predetermined transparency settings and the grass background. I sent a suggestion off to zztechs so if they make a small change in the system, it will make this alot easier.

I kinda like it without the Windows logo as the logo interferes with icons. The only transparency I used for this one was 59% on the tab bar.
