| HP: Pen-based PDA market on death bed According to Hewlett-Packard (HP), the traditional pen-based PDA market will evaporate within the next four years without significant product innovation. The company will therefore continue to focus the majority of its handheld efforts on converged smart phone devices, relegating its traditional PDAs to the entry-level consumer and SMB markets.

I have never been impressed by HP computing.  They should have stuck to printers and scanners. Looking at all that's happened lately though... who knows. I guess he didn't watch Star Trek huh!?! PADDs everywhere in the 23rd and 24th century, even though the average PDA today seems to be more versatile then those... interesting that even the name is a variation on PDA hmmmm???
