| SharkLinks SharkLinks is a free utility that lets you create browser links in your launcher. NOW SUPPORTS ALL BROWSERS
v1.2 (2/25/06)
-Default browser feature (Opera Mini not supported)
-New icon by Brad Green
-Note: any links created with v1.1 or earlier will NOT work with the Default Browser feature. They are indicated with a * next to them in SharkLinks.
UPDATE V1.1:
-Works with any browser. Tested with Netfront and Blazer
-Kirvin feature: Unique App: allows you to specify your own CREATOR ID please note that this will cause the link to not show up in SharkLinks, but it will be a separate app.
so here's how it works: you go into SharkLinks, add a bunch of your favorite places on the Web, and go back to your launcher. The links appear as if they were applications. So for instance i have an app called Engadget in my launcher and if i tap that it goes to http://www.engadget.com in blazer (not a good choice; wait until engadget has a mobile version!)
the links are SELF-CONTAINED. so you can create them and delete sharklinks. in fact, you can even beam the links to a friend's palm. or post them online. you get the idea...
This application was suggested to me by brad (jjesusfreak01) and jeff kirvin. nice idea guys!
now the fun parts: screenshot first: (links highlighted for convenience) DOWNLOAD SHARKLINKS 1.2
(now works with all browsers )

| why browser dependent?
Why not ask exchange manager what app is subscribed to be default handler of http protocall, and throw a launchCmdOpenURL at it. this way if my default browzer is not Blazer or Netfront, this app will still be useful to me.

| The nice thing about this is that it expands Blazer's bookmark ability --you can now have a bookmarks tab with as many marks in it as you'd like! I think this would make a great DA

| Nice idea!
I'm trying to keep my Launcher a bit less cluttered so it'd not be that great for me, but still I like it
One feature could be to allow you to pick which browser a link is run with, as well as being able to just have it run with whatever the default browser is...? |

| SharkLinks for Blazer now available SharkLinks is a free utility that lets you create browser links in your launcher. Right now it only supports Blazer (therefore it only supports Palm devices). If there is enough interest i can add Netfront 3 support pretty quickly. [ details]
