| This is an interesting thread to read. As much as I like apps like ZLauncher and DateBk5, if I had to, I could live without them. In other words, the apps I couldn't live without would not really be the same as my favorite apps! Here are my picks:
1. Hot Sync. Quite simply wouldn't use a Palm without it! ;-)
2. PIDirect/JackFlash. Without these, I'd have a hard time using everything else that I want to get on my Palm. I've resisted upgrading from my NR70V simply because PIDirect won't work with OS 5 and the newer Clies have yet to have enough RAM for me.
3. Splash ID. I simply could not do without this app or one like it. |

| 1. Vindigo--I can't believe has only been mentioned 3 or 4 times! I use this all the time!
2. Avantgo
3. NYC subway map (allows you to move around locations with the stylus)
4. Audio player (MP3s on the train)
Can someone enlighten me as to what the following do:
a. CF Driver (you mean I can use standard CF cards on the NX if I get this?)
b. Datebook5
c. PowerRun

a. Basically. Go here
b. Calendar replacement. Go here
c. Allows you to quickly/cleanly move apps to MS and run them from there (conserving often precious memory on the PDA) Go here. Though it seems that the next release of ZLauncher will provide this capability.

| Datebk5 is a great datebook replacement. See www.pimlicosoftware.com for more information
PowerRun allows you run applications and their databases off the memory stick. It move the app and its databases to the MS then when you run it it will move them to ram and when you leave the app will copy any changed databases back to the MS and then delete the rest from RAM.
With the CF driver you can use normal CF memory cards in the NX and NZ. There are some limitations, but the still camera and audiplayer work, which are the most important to me. |

Unfortunately ClockPro doesn't work well on the NX70. So I will have to look for another app with similare functions. [/B]

BigClock is great IMHO. I use it when I travel instead of a wakeup call!
But ahead of that would be DateBk5 and Bejeweled (although yahtC is giving it a bit of a challenge). Sure wish that Tan Kok Mun gave a volume discount because there are a few of his games that I like.
