Well, I had a HTC Magician at a gal's.

It ws petty funky, but it is not a work tool that could replace my TT3. Way to difficult to launch aps, way to laggish at times, was too bad integration of programs(I didnt find the emal client e.g., or a way to beam a program, or ...)

Tapwave Zodiac was just a niche market. Still great. 35 employees on a floor of an office building in San Francisco.

And if you total up the market share of all these Windows devices, do they come close to the Treo for smartphones or Palm for handhelds? You will have to figure out how the different market research companies exclude certain models to meet the spin requirements for their benefactors in order to come to somewhat realistic numbers.

Palm vs. world of Windows Mobile. Not bad for one company.

This illustrates well your point

I have never heard of Palm doing the same thing for PDAs or smartphones, except for the Palm One brand only.
