| The TX has a FAT32 driver installed, so there would be no problems

| I did not intend to dissuade what you've said before. Like I said earlier, it should work technically but since I haven't tried it on any of my gadget, thats why I referred him to palm's site and I have not heard of this testimony (4gb Sd on a TX).
Pee Jay could go ahead and try and let us know

| FAT32 = 4GB Support. If you place a FATFS on your LD, good bye. LOL.

| Can anyone actually confirm that they are using a 4 gb sd card on their TX? i'm trying to decide if i should get one. Also can you specify which card you are using so we will know which ones are compatable with the TX? |

| 4GB sd card works I have the transcend 150x 4GB SD card and it works with the TX. I did notice that it is slower than my Lexar 50x elite pro 1GB card. I did some research and it seems to be generally the experience from other users as well. Nevertheless, the transcend card is still fast enough for all the things I need to use for (video, audio, games, etc). |

| oolord,
I have Lexar (32x) 512Mb, Sandisk (40x) 1Gb, and Lexar (32x) 2Gb SD cards and all work flawlessly with my TX. And yes that includes audio, video, and even TomTom5 GPS Navigation software. It would seem that even these lower speeds should serve all but the most demanding uses, so your statements about the Transcend (150x) 4 Gb card being quite doable certainly makes sense

| Thanks for all the replys I think I'll probably just get a 2 Gb SD card so that it will work in my wifes TE as well. Too bad that the TE doesn't support the 4Gb SD cards. :-( |

| The TE2 doesn't support 2 gig cards, so I doubt the TE does either. Only 1 gig (I think I read that technically it supports 1.5 gig, but no one makes those cards anymore). |

| I have the Transcend 4GB. Seems OK. It's possible that some very infrequest video pauses are caused by the card but I don't think so. I have not benchmarked its performance tho. |
