| It is GREAT!!!
I have two suggestions:
- maybe 5-way controller should scroll whole map instead of moving selector (select button could center map on selected hex)
- it would be cool to have landscape options (for right and left handed) in video modes |

| Thank you noktoto,
The mapscrolling should be there, or it will be in the next update.
You have to switch to landscape, before you start the level.

| Didn't now about landscape - it works very well.
Scrolling now followes the selector - it is ok but quite slow.
I have sent you smooth title screen. |

| And maybe tapping screen could be LMB and tapping+key pressed could be RMB? Like in chrilith's ScummVM port. |

| This game is TERRIFIC !!!!
I've looked for my original Battle Isle disks (luckily I was so wise to put them on 3'5 disks a couple of years ago) and I'm actually playing Battle Isle again... on my PALM !!!
Superb !
You did a fantastic job !!!
Two questions : where can I find unit-sets ? (not urgent)
More urgent ;-) : is it possible to implement and end-turn button on the screen ?
It is also somewhat weird that you have to deselect your units before you can end your turn. But that's the ONLY comment I have atm !
Superb ! And this is even beta !!!!
Greetings,
Franky |

| I've added sound and fixed some stuff with the fonts, you might download it again. It's not that easy to put things on the screen, as the original isn't finished yet, and when I mess too much with it, it will be hard to stay in sync with the original game :-)

| Dear Metaview,
how can you see the details of a unit ?
Well, I KNOW how you can see it, but it disappears after a millisecond (most of the time)
Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong ? (Tungsten C here)
One more question : yesterday I wanted to finish level 2 of BI1.
I still had two tanks left and a Scout.
The enemy only had a plane left.... hiding itself in the headquarters.
Since i didn't have any infantry left, I couldn't take over his HQ and had to surrender. So the enemy didn't loose.... just because he hid himself in his HQ ! ;-)
This is of course not a palm-port related question, but is this also a bug ? Or didn't I play very wisely here ? ;-)
By the way I'm having A BLAST re-playing BI1 !!! |

| LoOZR37: Means, your right mouse button is "flickering"? Here is works just fine. But I will add more options for the controls, then a longer tap will act as a right mouse button click. Might help you.
About BI, it is written somewhere on the original website, that you might not always be able to finish BI levels. But you could edit the level and give you some infantery :-)
Happy fighting,
Henk

| Dear Metaview : yes indeed, there is flickering. However, the screen displays correctly in some cases and for some units. Not a big deal since I can still refer to the BI-manual.
As for finishing the BI-levels : so far so good : the first 6 have been won already.
You just have to save the infantry for use during the end-game...
One question : I have trouble converting the History Line levels with the WW1-set. Any expecrienced similar problems ? They convert fine with the default sets.
So far (no exagerattion) : this is the best game on palm... yet ;-) (Colonization is in the making)

| If added the possibility to put the right mouse button click on a longer stylus tap. Then you can play without any keypress :-) It's a bit confusing in the first, as the menu pops up, when you release the stylus. Have a try and tell me what you think. You can enable or disable it as well as the left mouse button simulation. See on my site is called 0.5 now.
