my z72s is being shipped and im gettin a rhinoskin case and a 512mb card. on buy.com its 23.99 after mail in rebate. does anyone know if they work on the 72?

Paul from Palm here. The Kingston card should be fine. The Zire 72 will support SD cards up to and including 2 GB.
Just informational for others interested in purchasing SD cards, there are some non-compliant cards out there that could conceivably damage an SD slot. One can find out how to identify such cards from the description given in the Palm Knowledge Library article "SD expansion slot damaged by SD card".
But again, all the well known brands should be just fine.
The Zire 72 has been confirmed to support up to 2GB in known compliant SD cards as mentioned in this Palm knowledge article. I believe that Lexar, Sandisk, Kingston, Panasonic are among some of the popular brands that are compliant and supported.
