Well....... Pending talks with JAmerican and a close friend and Co-Owner of DarkStar LLC (TS, VENT, IRCD/SHELL, AND WEB HOSTING)....

I have decided to undertake a project Im dubbing Phoenix Extended...
entails of this project are....

A mod to a clie Cradle or the even bigger Brando Cradle pending dimension restrictions will allow (in the clie Cradle) a 1500MAH batt (thats about 300 more MAH then the EB40) to rest peacefully in the bottom carrage..... and in the case of the brando Cradle a 3-4000MAH batt....
Thats right all this and the plan is for NO MODS to the actuial CLIE device....

So shoot me feedback this will be an undertaking By Myself and (pending) others in the forum...
BTW THIS WILL BE CHEAPER THEN THE EB40 EVEN OFF OF EBAY AND LAST 2X THATS LIKE 6-7 TIMES LONGER FOR YOUR CLIE!!!!! INSANE!!!!!!

!!!!!!!If we get enough interest my friend (DarkStar LLC) has offerd to be the funding and help us launch this project!!!!!!!

ok price..... i just did an ebay search and the EB40 is still selling for $160 total for us would be $100-120 (pending if we can get a deal from brando) and thats all, though its only a $40 to $60 savings its also 2-3 Times More powerful.. this was my intention all along.. (since my clie Batt fails out the BattTest at 45min ROFL)

.....45 views and only 1 reply im dissapointed... but alas im only trying to make somethign cool in my books.... MAIN REASON FOR PROJECT.... well i want something more powerful then the EB40 and if i can do it for less then the EB40 price then HOOOOAH!!!

I emailed Brando two days ago to ask about their discontinued EB40 but they were less than forthcoming; they also said that they had no intentions to restart production despite continued interest in the product.

I would suggest that if you can force the price of the battery even lower that you do so - the lower the cost of the battery, the more you will shift.

I only wish you'd posted yesterday - I've just bought two UX batteries with a view to carrying out Hippo's mod! I'll hold off making any changes until I hear more from you though...

I'm in, anything to enxtend my UX's battery life is good, and if it lasts longer and is cheaper than the EB-40, than I am definitely in.

well the price of $100-$120 is about cost for me (including standard shipping) so i dont really make but $10 and i have to pay back my $$$ backer, but i think what i will do is a comparason between my Product and the EB40 and since mine is going to last 2-3Times longer and still cost less then the EB40 i might just offer this price to 1SRC members who showd interest in our project... (it will be sold on a website though my friend so it will be a pro setup system......

i cant wait either and i also orderd the replacement 1000mah batt from cliebatt so now itll have like 4-5000 mah what will i ever do with that much play time.. like JAmerican i am also addicted to WarfareIncorporated (former Command & Conquer/Red Alert Junkie)

You've got to be kidding me 144 views and only 5 replys.... THIS MOD REQUIRES NO MOD TO THE UX50.... unlike the other battery mods avliable to u now.... not only that but its Cheaper and Better then the EB40 u cant tell me that all that and still no interest all id like to see is like the 5 who allready have is a little line saying "I AM INTERESTED" thats all i ask for nothing else.......


Anyway i got a go ahead on the project so my test batts and other supplys should be here wednesday....
