Question Bluetooth Cell Phones that talk with NZ-90

I have an NZ-90. I'm about to get a cell phone, and I want that cell phone to talk with the NZ via Bluetooth. What cell phones should I consider?

My first priority is to be able to use my address book on the CLIE to dial the phone so I don't have to re-enter all my friends' phone numbers. SMS would be nice. Connecting to the 'Net would be nice.

The phones I see listed as working for the Phone Driver are old phones. Do other, newer Bluetooh-enabled phones also work? Which one? If so, do they require any special tricks?

On a related note, what are the latest versions of all the Bluetooth software that comes with (or anyone recommends for) the NZ-90?

Thanks,
BluMan

I know for sure that the SonyEricsson T610 works perfectly. I myself have the RAZR and it seems not that easy.. (havn't really tried though).

i have tried with t610 and it worked beautifully.......it seems sony has drivers only for sony ericsson phones.....you might want to download the phone drivers first before deciding to buy a new phone that works with nz90

Nokia 3650 works fine with nz90 over bluetooth. Only issue is with SMS, you can send SMS from your Clie but not recieve. I believe it's a quirk of the series 60 phones, something to do with the way the OS interacts with the SIM.

I just downgraded from a 3650 to a SE t610 and so far I'm loving it.

BTW does anyone know if there is a way to get the T610 to push new SMS messages directly to the Clie?

the bluetooth driver for palm os 5.2 (and maybe the older ones too) has a bug in connection with (newer) nokia phones. The bug is corrected in palmos 5.4
You can use the driver of palmos 5.4 in palmos 5.2 and maybe in palmos 5.0 too (i cant say if it would work). I've tried out the driver on my th55 (os 5.2) and it works perfect.
Youll find more information about this topic on http://www.nexave.de/forum/thread.p...ight=nokia+7280
(sorry, german only). I can provide the driver from a Tungsten T5 if anyone wants to try if it works (but on your own risk).

SE T68i (T68 driver), SE T628 (T610 driver), and SE K700 (generic driver) work with the NZ90.

Try the following link and report back how it worked:
http://rapidshare.de/files/15676072...erT610.zip.html

I got this from the Sony Support website long time ago.

Here's the original page from Sony about this. I did not grab the pictures at the time: http://uk.geocities.com/galery003/c...iverupdate.html

Here another link for downloading the driver, hosted at my space at GeoCities:
