| This article is toooo confusing. High-Def needs a different acronym then HD, that's been taken by hard drive since the begining of time. So for now on, please add the TV to HD, so that it's HDTV. Bleh.

Care to elaborate there, chief? Both of those things have nothing to do with HDTV support. |

| I guess he misinterpreted the title like me, and almost Cyker. When I saw the title, I thought you were commenting on the hard drive option, and not the HDTV option.

| I guess...but if he read the post and the replies following it, I would've thought that he would have known what we were talking about.
Regardless, apologies to anyone initially confused, I'll remember to be more clear. |

| I know you were all talking about HDTV, I just wanted to talk about hard drives.

"Hard drive" has always been HDD. No syndicated publication ever abbreviates it as HD. |

| Ha, jjesusfreak beat you to the punch. Toooo slow.
But to defend myself, HD does stand for "Hard Drive," or Hard Disk. Maybe I'm new-school, or old-school, but it's how I've refered to it since the eighties. http://www.ibas.com/about/dictionary
HDD actually stands for "Hard Disk Drive," so I'll use it scince it is more specific. But it also means "Headsdown Display," "Heavy Duty Diesel," well you get the picture. So nya nya nya.

| Yup, we're all wrong. STFU? That was the Southern Tenant Farmers Union in the late 1840's.
I piss a lot of people off for some reason when they give out those four letters and I respond with that. |

| Hindsight 2 years later.... Nintendo WII kicks ***. They didn't have to worry about HDTV (Early plasma HDTV would burn images playin video games so buyer beware if they played video games on HDTV). The whole thread went to shxx talking about HDD but looks like 2008 maybe the year for X-box 3.

Hay, the Xbox 360 already had a bigger number then "3"...
Maybe something like Xbox 720? |
