| 90 mins & counting Hot Sync!!!!!! My Clie TG50 finally took its last fall so I used my CUSA tap plan today and purchased the T3. I downloaded a Simpsons episode from ncoday.com and hot synced this to T3, Well here it is 90 MINS later and hot sync still says "installing to card". WTF!!!! My TG50 would breeze through this with sony image transfer. Why the hell is this new piece of hardware so slow???????????? So far not very impressed with this thing. |

| Palm hotsync is very slow. You would be better served by using a reader or Card Direct (?? not sure of name, Softkick makes it). Welcome to the world of Palm! |

| Indeed... I don't have direct experiences with how slow palm's hotsync to card feature is, but I firmly believe that a card reader is THE way to go. I have one I got from walmart for like $20US and I wouldn't give it up. =)

I use cardexport allows you to mount Palm as a HD on your PC desktop, works very well, and no problems to date.. http://www.synclive.com/cardexport/ |

| ok I got the card writer/reader and I get the movie on the card very quickly. The only problem now is that when I open Kinoma Player it says there are no Kinoma files on this device. How can I get Kinoma player to see the movie on the card?? |

| Did you put it in the palm/programs/kinoma directory? Kinoma looks for the files there. |

| Thanks Krispy!!! I just copied directly from the desktop to the card writer so there were no folders. I reconverted the file on Kinoma Producer and sent it straight to the SD drive so and it created the folders than. |

| Palm Hotsync is NOT slow!! Mine has NEVER been slow. You can set the Hotsync speed. Perhaps it is set on the slowest speed??

We are talking about the sync to card feature which is slower than slow on every device with every speed setting. I'm sure this is slow even with your installation and your device. |
