WPA encrytion for Clie TJ-37?

Any wifi guru has a clue about WPA enabled wifi connection for Clie?
I was trying to connect to a WPA encrypted network, but Clie doesn't support it. I checked with Sony support, they agreed that they don't have the update yet. How come Clie lags behind the technology?
I'll appreciate it if any of you could provide an answer.

As far as I know, no PDA, and certainly no Palm OS based PDA has WPA. Too much processing required to make it work at even a somewhat high speed. On a handheld like my T|C, overclocked to 600MHz, that's fine, but on a 100-200MHz Clie, it's unthinkable.

WEP is probably hard coded into the Clies system, so it doesnt take any processing power. The Palm handhelds are the only ones you could even think of doing it for, because Sony did not release their apis.
