The camera is obviously 2 megapixels and better quality, how about the video recorder? How does the quality of the vid recorder compare to that of my nx70v?
Vid recorder sucks compared to the NX70. Very blocky... Colors a bit better, but the lack of clarity is disappointing. Camera quality is great. Kind of a trade off.

Although I've never seen the NX-70's video I'd agree with the "not great" quality of the video on the NZ. However, I can say that I've taken video then popped it into a powerpoint presentation. It's a powerful tool.
Bernie, to answer your question about taking photos of x-rays. If you check out my site under "What is your diagnosis" as well as under "ER photos" you'll see pictures of x-rays. I took those photos directly from a monitor and they came out great. I've also taken numerous photos from the hard copy films and they too come out with a nice resolution.
I can email you some of the x-ray pics if you'd like.
