| Strange connector inside VZ ... Heya all !
I noticed a strange and unused connector inside my VZ90, just clos to the battery connector. It seems to be suitable for some flatwires connexion ... I wonder what could be plugged there ...
A camera unit ?
A keyboard ?
Any idea ? does-it looks like anything you know ? |

| your right, it is a flat wire connection but i dont think being in that position it would be useful for connecting a camera or keyboard
my best guess would be for using it to run a diagnostic check on the system
or maybe adding internal bluetooth?
i've always admired the vz90, its screen is amazing, i really wanted one but when i saw the price

| Wow, I'm not sure. Maybe a camera or bluetooth. Not keyboard for sure.

| Umm... very interesting. I had removed the cover on the back one time but I hadn't noticed this connector.
I will have an eye on it :-)
The NX80V has also an unused connector.

| SD card ???
Huh, you gnow guys, this is a loooooooooooooot smaller ... hmmm well, (i often tend to exagerate things) ok, just a loooooot : it's less than 1 centimeter large.
It looks like a slot designed for flat wires (ribbon like).
So, designed to plug a component ... but what ?
Camera ?
Keyboard ?
Rice cooker ? |

| lol - rice cooker, if only
i still think it was either for an internal bluetooth card or to run diagnostic checks
considering that the nx80v also has something similar - and both nx80 and vz90 do not have bluetooth, i think its likely, unless you can find something similar on nx73v which does have bluetooth
or maybe its for a kettle so you can brew up a cup of tea whilst doing some work
