i hav read thro a lot of article about how good is the palm os cobalt. anyone hav any ideas to upgrade t5 by using cobalt.....? anywhere to get the os?

You can't really get Cobalt, as it was never released. What you *can* do is make your Palm have the look of Cobalt, which is what I've done. Which Palm do you have?
