| Undead Thread replacement? Raise your hand if you remember the Undead Thread! For the young-uns, the thread which functioned like a live chat gobbled up our resources that we were forced to halt its "progress."
Admittedly, it was fun. It was so fun that the frequent posters set up a site just to continue the Undead Thread. A few months ago, I thought Twitter was the best way to resurrect the UT. It did not work but I think I found the best alternative.
I've recently joined Plurk and realized that it functions 99% like the Undead Thread. Plurk is currently called a Twitter clone but it is more than that.
Anyway, check it out. I've stopped using Twitter in favor of Plurk.
Here's an INVITE.

| I looked at your plurk site roughly but do you ramble more about asus eee or about palm? I wonder if there is there are blog rings that talk about palm usage? I suppose even the die hard Clie users have fewer people to talk to too.....
I remain on Xanga but afaik there are no palm user group there. When you submit a video there it is converted to flash(you tube flv) format, wav files can be listened to and photos are easily submitted.
I suppose the undead thread could be resurrected since there are fewer users here on 1src....

Stopped it's progress? No one can stop the progress of the UDT.
While it's still out there in the vastness of cyberspace, saddly the lastest physical incarnations passed away. I've lost track up the members over time, but always assumed that SamCat, Tixx and others were still lurking around here. I know TB (Macbreman and many other incarnations) has a myspace page somewhere. He might get a kick out of hearing about the UDT some 6 years later.
I wonder if Goth, Ravi, and the others are still around.

| TB may or may not have evaporated. I haven't heard anything from him since early this year. I'll check out Plurk, but it won't be the same...

| Ah, we all turn up eventually.
The UDT was so long ago, I was looking to delete my account here. But as long as there are people who remember it, I may as well hold on.

I just got a thread notification in my email from 5 years ago, and it brought me back to the site. Thought I'd check the OT for kicks.
Last I remember of the UDT was DigitalDeath setting up a forum on aimoo some years back. Getting nostalgia'd bad here.

| Actually I think I might have been responsible for the aimoo board. I found the banner and button images when I was clearing out my digital files last year.
So either I started it or I was the nominated decorator.

| I am drunk and thought I'd come back to see what's happened to our beloved site. If I remember correctly, the reason our post counts are so low now is because the site suffered data loss in 2004/2005.
Spent so many hours of my life here. glad to see I'm not the only one who remembers. the undeadthread.com really warmed my heart despite it's current state.
May we all remember and honor tbellas, the OP, if I'm not mistaken.
