Zodiac 2 + SanDisk WiFi 256MB -> Fatalling

Hi all,

Does anyone have some info on known problems with the SanDisk WiFi+256MB SDIO card and the Zodiac 2?

As I've started using it more, I've found it to be incredibly unstable - Extended use seems to randomly produce such wonderfully intuitive messages as:

Fatal Exception: 0C 20000034 00A00000 0FFFFB2C 45D52070

(Although the funky numbers are often different!)

It does this seemingly at random; The only constant is WiFi usage.

Usually after a reset it's okay, but extended use of the WiFi often produces such an error, and sometimes just trying to activate the WiFi card causes it to "Fatal" out straight away!
Tends to happen more with high data volume programs, e.g. PalmVNC, SMBMate, Web, Web Pro, PocketTunes etc.
pSSH and ptelnet have so far escaped the crashorama.

It's kinda depressing because I've reset my Zod more times than I've ever reset my TH55 and I've only had it a few months vs (over?) a year for my TH55!

I can't see anything wrong, but I'm throwing the question out there in hope before I try starting from scratch (Will be VERY painful with the Zod since I have no easy way to do bulk backups or Hotsyncs like I do on my TH55! )

It should work with the latest driver found here.

If you are using the latest one you might want to check the wireless forum on Tapland to see if anyone else has this issue. I've never had issues, but I'm using the regular Sandisk and not the 256MB one.

Yup, that's the one I'm using.
Thanks for replying 'tho! I scanned the Tapland forums but nobody there seems to have had a similar problem... oh well...

My testing seems to pointing at a conflict between the Tapwave WiFi driver and Think Outside's Stowaway BT driver; When I took off the driver the WiFi was a LOT more stable... mmm...
