| VZ90 Auto screen shutdown Hello again everyone, I just got my VZ90 yesterday, really impressed with the screen when compared to my NX80V, just slow though (compare to NX80V again), now, I have a problem here, my VZ90 tends to shut its screen off automaticlly after a few minutes of playing a video with TCPMP, I've looked around but I can't seem to find any option to keep the screen on at all times.
What I want is to keep the screen on at all times unless I turn the unit off, or auto "power" off the unit after 5~6 minutes of not doing anything.
On my NX80V I can play videos on TCPMP without it shutting itself off as long as it's still playing the video, but VZ90 just keep shutting the screen off automaticlly, which is annoying for me because I am trying to let it fix one of the dead pixel on the screen but I need it to keep runing the video.
Anybody who knows how to diable this function please help, thank you. |

| I think it doesn't if you play the video from MediaLauncher. If you downloaded the video off my website, it will play in MediaLauncher.

| Thanks for the reply dragonsgames, but I don't use MediaLauncher for video stuff since it's not any good in my point of view because it doesn't support enough formats while TCPMP does more, I admit MediaLauncher takes full advantage of GE2D and DSP, but again, with the reasons above, I don't use it, I only use it for Mp3 now.
And luckly I've just found the solution for the "screen auto-off" "screen auto-sleep mode" in one of the old topic somewhere in the forum. Quote: |
bunbuns: As with the issue with the screen turning off after 3 minutes with video players i have test numerous programs and foudn the only thing that worked was TCPMP's Battery Override Tweak. Hopefulyl upcoming versions of TCPMP will have audio accleration support for HHE sony devices which will give a much need boost to the speed of audio decoding in videos.
