| to me the only better feature of this (compared to the abacus) is that it is waterproof.
Anything else is useless (OK except the shape).
no Palm OS (or Linux): bad customising
color display: what for?
cell phone: bet my *** it won't hold charge that long with 400mAh
mp3/4: with 128MB, very funny :-) (video on 120x160 ROTFL)
expansion slot and USb connector & waterproof: This trick I REALLY want to know!! (truely)
Here is what I still miss:
electronical ink (like in this e-book reader devices)
wireless connection and contaktless charging (like in elecrical tooth brushes)
THAN you can get it really waterproof |

| Hi,
the color screen IMHO is what the Fossil WristPDA would have needed. A small oled screen like I had on my media player watch from Brando, and everyone would have been more than happy,,, |

OLED consumes far less power because it doesn't need a cold cathode to backlight it. So no light, no inverter, no power except for the actual organic transistors producing the point of color.
OLED can also be used to produce transparent displays or even flexible displays.
However, OLED dies far quicker then LED at this point because plastic lets moisture in.
OLED being Organic in nature, effectively 'rots' when the moisture seeps in. Usually the blue color is the first to go. |
