As far as I remember It should sync through bluetooth (if it is the european TH55) and the latest PalmDesktop software version (6.2 I think) available at HP website.
I think the main problem is probably getting Hotsync to run on 64 bit versions of Windows (like the Windows 7 I now would like to install to).
The HP WebOS site says Hotsync won't work and you need to use Bluetooth.
Incidentally - did anyone stumble over the Jamam site? They seem to be making rugged PalmOS devices and their download page makes me think they have solved the issue of running Hotsync on 64 bit: http://www.janam.com/downloads-links-palm.php
So I should be in business again soon... and I have a pristine TH55 from a friend to replace the broken one (in fact she gave me a second Japanese one without Bluetooth, and another Clie as well). Just as well as I am not yet convinced that there is an adequate replacement for the functions of a PDA (I like and have an iPad but there is still Palm functionality I miss)
