 | Dashboard Translator Widget
It has just started to not work. I know I am not the only one to have this problem, the user T-Man has too. He had his PowerBook before me, and it seems it was about in the same amount of time it stopped working.

| The discussion at macrumors say that there's a bug, primarily due to Chinese translation processes. (I assume you were translating the Tungsten TX article at Mobile01, right?  )
Anyway, here's the fix. You would have to download Pref Setter for this to work out. Let me know how it turns out.

Go search for
widget-com.apple.widget.translation.plist
either in Spotlight, or in HOME>LIBRARY>PREFERENCES
Open the plist file and change the "fromlanguage" value to a 3, and the "tolanguage" value to 4. Save change if asked to do so.
Go into Dashboard, remove the Translator widget, then add it back onto your dashboard.

| I didnt even see this.  Yay! 
EDIT: Picking different languages now works, but what about the translation? Anywone else get a message saying that 'Data is unavailable'?
