I am pretty sure

The wrong thing to do with at BBuy is to tell them it is broken, they will send if off to get repaired. However if the unit is fine and they can resell it, you will be able to upgrade to the unit you desire. Good luck...

Its not fine, broken screen means a dozen large cracks in the screen, not a small scratch on the corner of the screen.

Interestingly, the Compusa boys told me not to just bring it in with a minor crack, but basically destroy it so that there is no way it can be repaired... like run it over with the car...

Picasosz.... Forget the new Clie for the moment..... You need some intelligence first! Spend the money on some "Common Sense"classes. #1: If you're contemplating a crime, which this is, you don't broadcast your intent in this matter. #2: People like you make it more diffucult for the ligitimate owners claims. There's nothing saying these retailers HAVE to take it in the shorts from crooks day in, day out. Get a job.... quit thinking like a tramp!
Have a nice day......

i was in Target when some brats decided to use the store as a place to play cops and robbers. One of them bumped my hand while i was holding my N760c. The screen was destroyed, and Circuit City's warranty doesn't cover accidents. Yay me; it was barely four months old. Most warranties don't; it's too easy to have an accident and get a replacement for it.

When i get the UX-50, one of the first things i'll do is get a wrist strap for it. i use the strap all the time when i use my digital camera. i've never dropped it, but as the above incident taught me, it only takes on time to ruin an expensive piece of electronics.
