I recently received a e-mail for Palm as to a request on the well known SD issues, and a the bottom of the page I ran across this:
PLEASE NOTE: Palm handheld products may be subject to a telephone
technical support fee of $25 per incident after 90 days from the date of
purchase. However, if it is determined your handheld requires repair or
if we are unable to resolve the issue, this fee will be waived.
Ok so they now charge for telephone support???
I have been over on the Sony side for a few years,
That said I was not impressed with Sony's customer support but at least I had it FREE for 1 year.
What is this...
Palm is charging for support???
WOW I remember Palm's support a fe years back and I was not that impressed at that time.
I believe their answer to EVERYTHING is
1. soft reset... No it didn't correct the problem???
2. Hard reset.... Ok so its not doing it anymore???

Only if you PUSHED and PUSHED hard were you able to get up to a real tech.
One that did more then read a screen, or script.
I'm not paying for that!!!
A 8th grader knows more then most of the Palm level 1 support personnel.
What say you???
