I can't seem to "get to" snow.prohosting etc.... I get a google error 404
even when I enter the entire address.
Suggestions?
any other ways to download this utility or are there others now for CF

Well, my fancy Zaurus finally died the battery death, so I took my old Clie out of storage, replaced ITS battery (because you still can). Since I'm on newer computers, I don't have a copy of CFUtility. Internet searches come up empty.

Does anyone still have a copy they can Email me? ( rob dot welch at charter dot net )

I saw this thread is very useful for Clie users. I wish any experts out there can help me:

I dig out my old NR70V for my son to use BDicty (dictionary) in school. Basically, I lost all my installation CD therefore I went to PALM and download Palm Desktop 4.01 and installed it. After verything is done, I pressed HotSync bottun on the cradle then error "Unable to Initiate HotSync operation because the port is in use by another application". Do you think the Palm Desktop from palm.com will work on my NR70V running on Window XP? If not what should I do?

yes it should work. I am using it with my NZ90 both under OS X and Windows xp and i am able to sync. I sometimes get that message that the port is in use when i am syncing over bluetooth on my mac but usually when i try it again it works is kinda hit and miss i do not know why.

my friend gave me a Sony clie N760c. It didn't recognize the memory stick, i tried to put the 64 mb flash from SE K750i but clie can't see it...

by the way.. if someone have the installation cd from clie N760c please send a copy to slavic@oe.md

i use nx70v whit a memorystick duo adaptor to memorystik pro duo of 2gb and work fine,

the model for 4gb cost 10 uss more but not have in the moment to test

i compare the memory of 4gb (the pack) whit the memory of 2gb and not see tecnicals diferences... , only capacity..

not buy the mem of 4gb , but a person buy after me XD.

but i think work...

to expand to memory stick from 128mb or more. (i install it in mi memory of 64mb)
if not have instaled these sony patch , see a ? over icon of mem..

wen test the memorystick pro duo, first time dont see nothigs signal
onli the / over icon , (show it wen not have nothing conected)
, but , the memory dont insert correcltly in adapter, i make a little force and , make a "clik" and i test and work
if not make a sound or ? signus over mem icon, is bad put in adapter...

in a mem of 2g i copy a divx movie in dvdrip of 700mb and see it fine whit tcmp, in the other memory of 512 i need convert to little avi (100mb) to see :P
sure have a little hangs , of divx , according to the compression of the film

whit mp3 work fine, i use to copy a usb mem reader.. adaptor..(all in one chinese) :P

the msfile, hang 70% wen copy mp3s... to palm.., not is recomended to copi using base and usb cable of palm,

directly work perfect..

well , now i have problems whit mi batery , wen solve it , meybe buy a memory of 4gb to test .

if use memory stick , buy a memory adapter to pc, and copy directly the files to mem is more easy and fast, i never cant run fine hotsinc and palmdesktop :S

if use the mem in adapter u see the paths \palm\launcher (copy here executables .prc and component)
and if need directory , have , \palm\programs\ ej quickoficce\ ej lpj , etc..

more programs need component in programs directory and other run alone, in laucher,

if use whit usb the msfiles, if have the driver in xp. cant see the mem as extraible hd) see the directory ..

remember u need make and user in hotsinc, and palm desktop, named ej ej:Zefiro, and in the palm in setings , Owner, need put here the user , ej:Zefiro

if the user not is = in palm and in pc , never conect..
personally never cant use hotsinc :S
but see if u have the owner name in palm = user name in pc hotsinc or palm desktop..
