"PrintMe" question - can't delete?

Hi guys,

Has anyone else noticed that you can't delete the program "PrintMe"? It's 85k and will go into the trashbin (using ZLauncher 5.32) but will not empty out of the trashbin.

Am I missing something obvious, or what's the deal? It's not in ROM, just RAM. Very strange, and the more that I think about it, the more it bothers me. I know I can just hide it, but c'mon... it should go when you tell it to, no?

thanks.

It probably has a hook into the OS (or some other inner PalmOS working which I don't fully understand or have good venacular). Try doing a warm reset (pin hole reset with the "up" button held in), and deleting it using the standard PalmOS Applications, Delete menu item. Another way might be to change the creatorID using a utility like Filez, do a soft reset, and then delete it.

Thanks applejosh. Tried that, but it didn't work.

Had a look around on the net and found the solution. 'PrintMe' is installed along with 'Adobe Reader for Palm' by the way....

It won't uninstall while a third party launcher is in use, and as I have ZL running it was a no-go. Exited ZL, deleted PrintMe, then restarted ZL. Problem solved and I got my 85kb of memory back. Small victory for sure, but still.
